He appeared at the Wembley International Country Festival on 4 occasions on the main stage as well as hosting the "BEST OF BRITISH FESTIVAL" for 5 years in the Conference Centre. He has worked with nearly every top name on the British and Irish Country Music Scene. He appears regularly at country festivals around Britain as a performer and compere.

He started his broadcasting career with Radio Forth in Edinburgh for 4 years. He moved to BBC Radio Scotland for 15 years with Country Corner. He had his own series on BBC Radio 2, was a guest presenter on Country Club on numerous occasions, and presented the First Country Gospel programme on Radio 2. He also presented country programmes on Glasgow Country 105 and Clan F.M.
