Chart October 2001 “Lonely Farmer’s Daughter” reached top ten 2001 “What God Has Joined Together” No 1, NCM European Country & Gospel Charts, 18th and 25th March 2004 “Family Bible” No 5 Country Hot Disc Top 30 , 4th March 2004, and WON the British Country Single of the Year Award 2004 “Lord I’d Forgotten” No 1 on the NCM Gospel Chart on 8th, 22nd and 29th April, 2005, European Country Chart at No 4, and No 2, on 22nd, No 8 on 29th April, 2005 “Another Chance to Dance” HOT DISC Chart No 6 and No 2 British Country Chart and WON the British Country Single of the Year Award 2005 , Radio Play Awards “The Chance to Live Another Day” No 1 HOTDISC British Chart 17 and 24 November 05 ( both from ONE MORE TIME CD).

Gerry was inducted into the British Country Hall of Fame on 20th September, 2008, and awarded “Services to Country” Award in February 2009.

As a songwriter Gerry has recorded 32 original songs, 5 of these were nominated as "Songs of the Year" in the Radio Play Awards ."Daddy's Farm " was recorded by BOTH Gene Stuart & Eddie Fitzsimons in Ireland, while "Don't Play Faded Love" was recorded by New West Duo in Suffolk.
