As Scotland's leading Country singer-songwriter Gerry has notched up 32 years as a country entertainer. He recorded 16 albums and performed on the World Famous "Grand Ole Opry" on 21 occasions as guest of Country Star JEAN SHEPARD.
His style, traditional in material and presentation, included songs from Hank to Garth , Reeves to Jackson, with his own compositions and songs from his recordings. He performed in U.S.A. Norway, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Ireland, and toured across the U. K.
As a soloist he was ideal for the country music fan, who enjoyed the music with a full country band sound, in concert or dancing. He won many award for his performance, his radio presentation and his recordings. Gerry retired from touring on the road in the UK on 10th November 2008.
