As Scotland's leading Country singer-songwriter, Gerry has now completed 32 years as a country entertainer. He recorded 16 albums and performed on the World Famous "Grand Ole Opry" on 21 occasions as guest of Country Star JEAN SHEPARD.
His style, traditional in material and presentation, included songs from Hank to Garth , Reeves to Jackson, with his own compositions and songs from his recordings. He performed in U.S.A. Norway, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Ireland, and toured across the U. K.
He latterly performed as a soloist, ideal for the country music fan, who enjoyed the music, with a full country band sound, in concert or dancing and he won many award for his performance, recordings and radio presentation.
Gerry retired from touring on the road on 10th November 2008.
