As Scotland's leading Country singer-songwriter, Gerry has now completed 32 years as a country entertainer. He recorded 16 albums and performed on the World Famous "Grand Ole Opry" on 21 occasions as guest of Country Star JEAN SHEPARD.
His style, traditional in material and presentation, covered songs from Hank to Garth , Reeves to Jackson, interspersed with his own songs, and those from his recordings. He performed in Norway, Sweden, Holland Germany, Ireland, U.S.A., and continually toured across the U. K. He latterly performed as a soloist, ideal for the country music fan, who enjoyed the music in concert or dancing and won many award for his performance, recordings and radio presentation. He retired from performing on 10th November 2008.
